Job Title: IT Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead the strategic and operational aspects of our IT department. This role will be pivotal in developing our IT strategy, maintaining robust systems, and implementing cutting-edge technology solutions to enhance our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a 1–3 year IT modernization roadmap.

  • Lead migration toward Microsoft 365 / Azure cloud infrastructure.

  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and analytics.

  • Present quarterly IT status updates to align IT initiatives with company growth and operational efficiency goals.

  • Maintain servers, networking equipment, firewalls, and user endpoints.

  • Oversee Active Directory, permissions, and endpoint security.

  • Manage backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.

  • Ensure system uptime of at least 99%.

  • Monitor capacity planning as the company scales.

  • Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies.

  • Monitor and report security awareness KPIs and recommend improvements.

  • Manage KnowBe4 implementation and operations.

  • Conduct regular patch management and vulnerability reviews.

  • Lead incident response when necessary.

  • Maintain AI and cloud governance standards.

  • Lead Microsoft 365 deployment and optimization.

  • Implement SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams governance.

  • Collaborate with software development partners to implement digital twin and AI-powered solutions.

  • Identify repetitive processes suitable for automation.

  • Enhance KPI dashboards and data visibility across departments.

  • Support predictive analytics and reporting initiatives.

  • Provide Tier 1–2 technical support as needed.

  • Deploy and configure workstations, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.

  • Support ERP, production systems, and machine integrations.

  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.

  • Manage relationships with third-party IT vendors.

  • Negotiate licensing and hardware contracts.

  • Develop annual IT budget recommendations.

  • Evaluate ROI for new technology investments.

Essential Skills

  • At least 5 years of IT experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

  • At least 5 years of experience with Microsoft 365/Azure.

  • At least 5 years of experience managing both infrastructure and strategic initiatives.

  • Bachelors degree

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Exposure to AI-enabled business tools and automation platforms.

  • Experience with Power BI or business intelligence.

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST and CIS controls.

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator.

  • Microsoft 365 Administrator.

  • CompTIA Security+ certification.

  • Relevant AI or Data certifications.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gilbert, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
