We are currently hiring Care Professionals for ALL shifts and are looking to fill positions in Anderson Island, Fox Island, Gig Harbor, Pierce County and South Vashon Island
This includes weekday, evening, and weekend shifts. If you have a heart for caregiving and are ready to start making an impact, we would love to hear from you.
Home Instead Care Professionals provide a variety of non-medical services that help older adults remain in their homes and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care, and compassion.

Care Professional job description includes, but is not limited to:
- Companionship and conversation
- Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Medication and appointment reminders
- Personal care with all activities of daily living
- Dementia and Alzheimer's Care
- Transportation to errands and appointments
- Nurse Delegated Services
Requirements to be a Care Professional:
- Ability to pass a background check, DMV check, and a drug screen
- Possess a valid Driver's License and auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work some weekends
- We provide care in all of the following locations: Anderson Island, Fox Island, Gig Harbor, Lakewood, Steilacoom, Tacoma, University Place and Vashon Island
- Job Types: Full-time, Part-time (Minimum of 20 hrs. per week)
- Salary: $20.00 - $26.60 per hour (Depending on certification status, shift and years of experience)
- Extra incentives for working weekend and/or overnight shifts
- Caregiving Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
