MMC Land Management Inc Landscape and Maintenance Foreman in Gibsonia, Pennsylvania
10 Landscape and Maintenance Foreman -- needed for permanent, full-time employment.
Job Duties: Supervise and schedule the daily activities of 4-5 Lead Grounds/Maintenance Specialists, including H2B workers, in carrying out landscaping and grounds maintenance job duties for commercial and residential properties with year-round contracts. Review project scope; select/purchase required materials, equipment and tools needed; ensure that all project materials are taken to the job sites; and monitor/order inventory, as needed. Supervise, train and mentor Lead Grounds/Maintenance specialists in mowing, edging, trimming and blowing properties using lawnmower (walk behind and rider), edger, trimmer, and backpack blower. Operates all maintenance equipment without supervision. Makes routine or general repairs to equipment as needed. Inspects and monitors client properties after the completion of work to ensure quality and job completeness. During the Winter months, supervise any of the following: lay winter sod and perform specific and specialized winter rejuvenation pruning for shrubs and plants; seed/overseed lawns; adjust irrigation system for Winter months; perform winter lawn cleanups to remove debris, dead leaves, bushes, and limbs using shovel, rake, pruner and saws; and removal of snow on properties using shovel and snow blower, and spread salt on walkways and driveways.
The employer will provide on-the-job training. The employer will provide all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job at no charge.
Requirements: Requires 24 months of landscaping and maintenance experience. Various Worksites: Employer will provide daily transportation to and from the worksite/centralized location to job sites in Butler, Beaver, Washington, Allegheny, and Armstrong Counties
Wages/Terms: $25.08/hr., and $37.62/hr. for OT. 40 hours per week.
