Job Description
This position offers an opportunity for a skilled Electrician to join a dynamic and growing electrical services provider focused primarily on commercial projects, with some residential work as needed. You will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems while ensuring high-quality, reliable, and efficient service for clients. As the company continues to expand, this role provides the potential to grow professionally and take on increased leadership responsibilities over time.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial environments, with some residential work as required.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan and execute electrical installations and repairs.
Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective, lasting solutions.
Collaborate with contractors, architects, and other trades to coordinate work and complete projects on time and within budget.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure safe and reliable operation.
Install, pull, and terminate electrical wiring, including bending and installing conduit as needed for new construction and remodel projects.
Essential Skills
Reliable transportation to travel between various job sites.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety protocols.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents.
Demonstrated ability to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial settings.
Solid troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
Ability to bend and install conduit and pull wire safely and accurately.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working on new construction and remodel projects in commercial environments such as restaurants, retail stores, and malls.
Familiarity with construction environments and coordination with multiple trades.
Customer-focused mindset with the ability to represent the company professionally on job sites.
Desire to grow into leadership responsibilities as the company expands.

Work Environment
The role is primarily based on commercial properties, with occasional residential projects, across various locations throughout the Pittsburgh area. Electricians work on diverse job sites, including restaurants, retail spaces, malls, and new home and new construction projects. The position involves working both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions and requires regular travel between different sites within the city. The environment is fast-paced and construction-focused, with frequent collaboration alongside other trades and contractors on active job sites

This is a Contract position based out of Gibsonia, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
