General Function: We are seeking an experienced trade compliance team member to support our international exports and grow to support imports and the whole compliance team and process. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Manage all international outbound shipping activities in support of operations, including but not limited to security, compliance, negotiating rate contracts with freight carriers, claims, returns, bill coding, audits, and invoicing. Review export documentation before releasing to the warehouse. Use the ACE portal to submit export declarations and run reports. Verify export licensing requirements and ensure AES filings are completed accurately and timely. Communicate with freight forwarders regarding import and export shipments. Provide guidance and training to team on trade compliance. Support team in preparing Broker forwarding paperwork for all international shipments including custom documents and customer requirements. Perform restricted party screening on customers and vendors. Prepare manual commercial invoices when necessary. Submit export license applications. Scanning and filing documents for recordkeeping.
