Job Title: QC Chemist

Job Description

The Analytical Chemist will perform analysis using the HPLC, GC, IR Karl Fischer titrations, and other conventional pharmaceutical lab testing methods. Responsibilities include routine and non-routine testing to support development and production, as well as method development and validation.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or related field.

  • 0-2 years of experience in an API GMP manufacturing facility.

  • Exposure to HPLC, GC, or analytical lab environments.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Knowledge of GMP, GDP, and pharmaceutical API processes.

  • Experience in method validation and development.

  • Analytical chemistry and titration techniques.

Work Environment

The role is based in an Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) Manufacturing facility, operating within a lab environment that supports production from a QC Analysis perspective. The work environment can be demanding with short timelines. The position offers flexibility in shifts: a straight contract on the 1st shift lasting 3-4 months, or a potential contract-to-hire on a PM 3rd shift role, transitioning after 2 months, with a shift differential. The 1st shift runs from Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. There is also a 2-2-3 schedule from 6 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Dress code is typical for a lab setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Germantown, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
