Machine Operator Responsibilities: - Perform set-up of folding and gluing operations of the machine in accordance with proper setup techniques - Minimize waste of sheet stock and glue - Operate machine to run efficiently and produce quality products - Ensure diagonal and corrugator scores are broken when necessary - Maximize utilization of equipment by operating the machinery at available capacity and speed - Assist in training all post job positions - Learn to run a variety of box styles - Check quality of boxes during the run, including mis-slotted boxes, loose liner, misprints and any other defects - Complete necessary reports in an accurate and timely manner, including but not limited to production, safety and quality data - Turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs.
