Job Title: Production Technician Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Production Technician to perform the mechanical assembly of sub-assemblies using small hand and power tools. The role requires some soldering and collaboration with production technicians and engineering teams to enhance assembly processes and maintain high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
Assemble sub-assemblies using hand and power tools.
Perform soldering tasks as needed.
Collaborate with production technicians and engineering to improve assembly processes and documentation.
Work with manufacturing engineers to enhance assembly efficiency, product quality, and reduce manufacturing costs.
Ensure work order protocols are followed and paperwork is completed accurately.
Conduct in-process quality checks to maintain high quality standards.
Follow established procedures and seek guidance for new assignments.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in electronic assembly and troubleshooting.
Experience with electro-mechanical assembly and hydraulics.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
Skilled in wiring, soldering, and using hand and power tools.
Knowledge of IPC and J-STD soldering standards.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Vocational training in electronics or solder certification is preferred.
Experience with safety and ESD practices.
Experience working with engineering on new product development.
Ability to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Strong initiative and drive to achieve goals and meet company objectives.
Commitment to learning from mistakes and improving performance.
Team-oriented with a focus on collaboration and teamwork.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $34.00/hr.
