GEORGETOWN ISD Specialist - Purchasing-Bond in Georgetown, Texas
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
o Support of Administrative, Fiscal and/or Facilities Functions
o Prepare all Bond related Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FFandE) requisitions.
o Coordinate receiving Bond purchases with campuses/departments.
o Receive and process Bond FFandE purchase orders and invoices.
o Assist with obtaining quotes, tabulations and cost/price analysis for Bond related projects.
o Monitor and manage Bond accounts.
o Assist in scheduling meetings related to capital Bond purchasing.
o Maintain purchasing vendor lists and serve as vendor liaison.
o Maintain the districts electronic purchasing website (eBID); activate new vendor registrations, assist vendors with their accounts.
o Maintain the Purchasing Contract Library database; log contracts/agreements.
o Assist, participate and/or conduct training sessions with district personnel, and vendors.
o Provide assistance to campuses/departments as requested.
o Provide support for front desk operations, answer phones and record bids.
o Coordinate district credit cards.
o Reconcile credit card statements.
o Organization Improvement
o Work collaboratively to improve programs.
o Communication o Establish and maintain positive and professional relationships and open communication with district employees and the community to provide needed information and to promote the district in a positive manner.
o Communicate clearly and professionally, collaborate with campus/department staff to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction
