RANDSTAD DIGITAL LLC Global trade compliance manager in Georgetown, Texas

Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Oversight: Manage and execute all aspects of international trade compliance, including export controls, import regulations, and global trade management.

  • Classification and Licensing: Perform hands-on product classification under EAR and ITAR. Prepare, submit, and manage all necessary export licenses, technical assistance agreements, and government authorizations.

  • Program Development: Design, implement, and audit internal trade compliance programs (ICP) to mitigate risk and ensure "best-in-class" operational standards.

  • Transactional Management: Analyze and oversee complex import/export transactions, ensuring all documentation and regulatory filings are accurate and timely.

  • External Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies (CBP, BIS, DDTC, etc.).

  • Business Advisory: Act as an internal consultant to Sales, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams, providing clear guidance on sanctions, restricted party screening, and shipping requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field (or 11+ years of equivalent professional experience).

  • Experience: * 7+ years of progressive experience in international trade compliance or export controls.

    • Direct, hands-on experience with ITAR, EAR, OFAC sanctions, and Foreign Trade Regulations.

    • Proven track record of managing complex licensing and regulatory filings.

    • Experience auditing compliance programs and identifying areas for process improvement.

  • Technical Skills: * Proficiency in ERP systems (IFS experience is a significant plus).

    • Advanced mastery of Microsoft Office Suite.

    • Communication: Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to distill complex legal jargon into actionable business documentation.
