RANDSTAD DIGITAL LLC Global trade compliance manager in Georgetown, Texas
Responsibilities:
Regulatory Oversight: Manage and execute all aspects of international trade compliance, including export controls, import regulations, and global trade management.
Classification and Licensing: Perform hands-on product classification under EAR and ITAR. Prepare, submit, and manage all necessary export licenses, technical assistance agreements, and government authorizations.
Program Development: Design, implement, and audit internal trade compliance programs (ICP) to mitigate risk and ensure "best-in-class" operational standards.
Transactional Management: Analyze and oversee complex import/export transactions, ensuring all documentation and regulatory filings are accurate and timely.
External Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies (CBP, BIS, DDTC, etc.).
Business Advisory: Act as an internal consultant to Sales, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams, providing clear guidance on sanctions, restricted party screening, and shipping requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field (or 11+ years of equivalent professional experience).
Experience: * 7+ years of progressive experience in international trade compliance or export controls.
Direct, hands-on experience with ITAR, EAR, OFAC sanctions, and Foreign Trade Regulations.
Proven track record of managing complex licensing and regulatory filings.
Experience auditing compliance programs and identifying areas for process improvement.
Technical Skills: * Proficiency in ERP systems (IFS experience is a significant plus).
- Advanced mastery of Microsoft Office Suite.
