Job Summary

Pegatron Technologies LLC seeks a Facility Electrical Technician to perform a range of electrical tasks, including wiring, troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance. This role involves ensuring the safe and reliable operation of electrical systems and adhering to industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and components, including wiring, fixtures, and appliances

Read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications to determine wiring layouts and installation procedures

Test electrical systems and components for functionality, safety, and compliance with regulations

Troubleshoot electrical problems, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment

Replace or repair faulty electrical components, such as switches, outlets, and circuit breakers

Ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards in all work activities

Collaborate with other trades and contractors on construction projects to ensure proper coordination of electrical work

Maintain accurate records of electrical work performed, including maintenance logs, inspection reports, and service records

Provide technical support and guidance to other maintenance staff or apprentices

Keep abreast of developments in electrical technology, codes, and standards

Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, and electrical hazards

Respond to emergency calls and service requests to address electrical issues promptly

Estimate material and labor costs for electrical projects and repairs

Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and team members to ensure timely completion of work and customer satisfaction
