Job Title: Electrician
Job Description
The Maintenance Licensed Electrician plays a crucial role in the installation and maintenance of electrical, instrumentation, mechanical, and automation systems typical to a dairy operation. This position requires a hands-on approach, working directly with equipment and operators on the floor, as well as performing tasks in the shop such as rebuilding and repairing.
Responsibilities
Install and maintain electrical, instrumentation, mechanical, and automation systems.
Perform hands-on execution of tasks both on the floor and in the shop.
Conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshoot high-speed automated packaging equipment.
Work with pressure, temperature, and flow controls, including calibrations and programming.
Utilize knowledge and experience with PLC controls and programming systems.
Essential Skills
Minimum 3 years of electro-mechanical experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and installation.
Experience with industrial schematics and PLC programming.
Knowledge of electromechanical preventative maintenance.
Familiarity with high-speed automated packaging equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in the food industry is preferred.
Certified as a Licensed Electrician, preferably with 442A certification.

Work Environment
Work at our largest packaging facility, which is known for its incredibly clean and climate-controlled environment. The position requires working an afternoon shift from 3:30 pm to 2:00 am, Sunday to Wednesday. The facility primarily produces cheese and other dairy products.

The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
