We demonstrate this by providing state-of-the-art technology; an expert team of pathologists and technicians; comprehensive services; fast and reliable results; a patient-centered approach; and commitment to continuous improvement.Description:- Maintains technical competency as related to the job functions.- Understands pertinent LIS functions and performs downtime procedures effectively.- Evaluates each procedure performed and chooses appropriate investigative techniques as indicated.- Identifies and resolves problems that may adversely affect test results and notifies appropriate personnel.- Determines acceptability of specimens by performing visual inspections or by recognizing abnormal/unusual results.- Documents unacceptable specimens according to policy. Communicates specimen requirements to appropriate personnel.- Assesses job functions and takes appropriate action when problems are detected.- Identifies problems with specimens, test orders, registration and takes appropriate action.- Handles troubleshooting professionally and communicates with coworkers and customers when delays occur.- Expected to utilize complex problem-solving skills in resolving clinical and instrument problems.Requirements:- Associate's degree.- Certified or eligible for certification in clinical laboratory science by recognized certifying agencies.- Clinical Laboratory Science Certified within 1 year.Benefits:- Preventive Plan- Retirement Plans- Flimp Decisions - Flimp Decisions will help you pick the best value plan option given your expected medical needs.
