As a Line Lead, youll oversee daily operations on assigned production lines or processing areas, supporting the department supervisor with workforce coordination and workflow execution. Youll play a hands-on role in keeping production running safely, efficiently, and on schedule while helping guide and support team members on the floor. Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee work at various stations along the production lines processing poultry food products.
- Adhere to all safety requirements including PPE, preventing, and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, Lockout-Tagout procedures, and Process Safety Management related matters.
- Ensure that the qualities of the products are met according to the product specifications of QA and USDA.
- Ensure that all equipment throughout the departments is running smoothly.
- Maintains a clean and safe working environment.
- Lead and train line team members.
- Monitor production lines for efficiency and quality.
- Implement safety protocols and report incidents.
- Maintain accurate records and reports.
- Control labor and material costs.
