Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team and contribute to the production of high-quality plastic parts for various industries. The ideal candidate will perform setups on Prototrack CNC mills and lathes and ensure efficient machining operations.
Responsibilities
Perform setups and changeovers on Prototrack CNC mills and lathes for plastic part manufacturing.
Conduct machining operations including milling and turning.
Select and change out fixtures and tooling as needed.
Make basic programming edits on CNC machines.
Operate manual and semi-manual presses.
Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Manage production runs ranging from 50 to 300 pieces, with occasional smaller runs.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in CNC milling and turning.
Experience with Prototrack CNC mills and lathes.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Skilled in making programming edits on CNC controllers.
Experience in using micrometers, calipers, and gauges for part inspection.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience running Bridgeport with Dx32 control.
Ability to create programming edits from scratch.
Previous mold making experience.
Skills in manual machining.

Work Environment
The work environment is a clean and well-lit machine shop. While it is not climate controlled and can get warm in the summer, it remains a standard and comfortable setting for machining operations.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Geneva, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
