Personal Care Services (PCS) Aides
Priority Cares Home Services LLC in Rochester, NY is seeking caring and dependable Personal Care Services (PCS) Aides to assist clients in their homes with essential daily living activities while promoting comfort, safety, and independence. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Director of Patient Services, PCS Aides provide personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance, along with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship.
Responsibilities also include monitoring client conditions, maintaining a safe home environment, following infection control protocols, and documenting services accurately. Candidates should ideally hold a PCA certificate or equivalent training, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate compassion, reliability, and independence.
Applicants must meet NYS health requirements, pass background and drug screenings, and preferably hold CPR certification and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
Wages: $18.65/hour - $20.00/hour depending on skills and experience. Previous experience preferred, but trainees will be considered.
