Honeywell Intern - V&V Engineer OnGuard Fine in Gdańsk, Poland

Intern - V&V Engineer OnGuard Fine – 12 months paid contract (Hybrid work)

Location: Gdansk, PL

We have an opportunity for a Intern Bachelors V&V to join us at Honeywell, in Gdansk, where you will be responsible for engaging in functional testing, including test preparation and execution to ensure product quality. This paid Internship is a part of our University Relations program, designed to help students launch their careers with hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for growth within Honeywell. This internship is set up for 12 months, starting from June/July 2026.

The internship will enhance your testing skills in manual and/or automated tests, depending on the assigned tasks. You will actively participate in the software development process, gaining practical experience with an agile approach, and fostering team collaboration.

This is hybrid work 3+2! (3 days from office + 2 days from home).

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the delivery team to develop and test new product features

  • Participate in daily Scrum meetings, design sessions, and team brainstorming activities

  • Perform functional testing, including test preparation, execution, and defect reporting to ensure product quality

  • Write and maintain automated test scripts using Python to support QA efforts

  • Build programming skills and deepen understanding of testing methodologies and best practices

Qualifications:

  • Undergoing or having finished a degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or related field

  • Knowledge of Python and SQL

  • English level: comfortable communicating in English in both written and spoken

  • Naturally curious and a proactive problem solver, approaching tasks with a methodical and consistent mindset

  • Well-organized and capable of managing time efficiently to meet deadlines and support team objectives

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Outlook; quick to learn new software and systems
