Honeywell Intern - Software Engineer Elements in Gdansk, Poland
Intern - Software Engineer Elements – 12 months paid contract (Hybrid work)
Location: Gdansk, PL
We have an opportunity for a Intern Bachelors V&V to join us at Honeywell, in Gdansk, where you will be responsible for the Implementation of custom solutions and reports for OnGuard software based on customer requirements. This paid Internship is a part of our University Relations program, designed to help students launch their careers with hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for growth within Honeywell. This internship is set up for 12 months, starting from June/July 2026.
You will learn cloud-based access control using the latest cloud technologies, best practices, industry-standard tools and team cooperation.
This is hybrid work 3+2! (3 days from office + 2 days from home).

Responsibilities:
Develop new features and enhance existing functionality of the access control system to improve customer experience.
Collaborate with engineers and product stakeholders to translate requirements into working solutions
Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to feature testing and debugging
Gain hands-on experience across the software development lifecycle in a production environment
Qualifications:
Undergoing or having finished a degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or related field
Web development knowledge (full stack), React, NodeJS, logs analytics, mongo DB
English level: comfortable communicating in English in both written and spoken
Naturally curious and a proactive problem solver, approaching tasks with a methodical and consistent mindset
Well-organized and capable of managing time efficiently to meet deadlines and support team objectives
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Outlook; quick to learn new software and systems
