The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company SharePoint Administrator in GBS Manila, Philippines

This position will be a member of the Global Unified Communication and Collaboration Service (UCC) responsible for professional and technical work related to the operation and support of the UCC Service and related components. The incumbent will work in partnership with the IT Infrastructure Service Organization.

This is an advanced service supporting role primarily responsible for the transitional and operational tasks and duties which support the UCC service implementations. UCC services could include but are not limited to Unified Messaging, Collaboration, File Services, Telephony, Conferencing and Streaming, etc. The incumbent participates in requirements definition, research, and analysis in partnership with internal business customers to architect an optimal service solution. The incumbent will communicate issues, resolutions, and best practices to team members.

What You'll Do

  • Service Operation Processes: You will manage and support Incident Management, Problem Management, Event Management, Request Fulfillment, Access Management, and Operations Management processes.

  • Service Transition Processes: You will support Knowledge Management, Change Management, Asset & Configuration Management, Release & Deployment, Transition Planning & Support, Service Validation & Testing, and Evaluation processes.

  • You will be responsible for one or more low-complexity or low-criticality services or technologies.

  • You will work with global, regional, and local IT teams, providing intermediate to advanced consultation for the services you support.

  • You will leverage data to identify, justify, recommend, and implement system improvements using new or existing technologies.

  • You will interact with internal customers in evaluating, testing, and implementing IT business solutions. This may include delivering presentations on applying IT, recommending implementation strategies, and assisting in costing exercises.

  • You will plan, document, implement, and troubleshoot software, systems, and/or databases. You may also perform intermediate to advanced configurations or system modifications.

  • You will evaluate business and functional requirements, recommend solutions, support project planning, and identify training needs.

  • You will troubleshoot intermediate to advanced issues reported by internal customers, systems, or team members, and escalate when necessary.

  • You will document and map workflows and processes using current technologies.

  • You will manage small to medium projects within your area of specialization and across functional teams, providing technical leadership when needed.

  • You will lead intermediate to advanced problem resolution and documentation, often dealing with complex and ambiguous issues across functional areas.

  • You will participate in an emergency on-call rotation, including after-hours and weekend support.

  • You may perform activities related to Service Delivery Management (SDM) or Technical Delivery Management (TDM) for one or more services. This includes owning service delivery, ensuring operational performance, maintaining standards, managing configurations and versioning, supporting roadmap planning, and contributing to Problem Management.

What We’re Looking For

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

  • You must have at least 6-8 years of experience working with SharePoint Infrastructure and PowerShell.

  • You are proficient in writing SQL queries using LINQ or similar methods.

  • You have experience with JavaScript (preferred but not required)..

  • You have basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office product suite.

  • You have an understanding of the supported business process area and demonstrate continued growth in understanding company culture and business practices.

  • You are able to work under broad supervision and interact regularly with user representatives.

  • You are able to build strong customer relationships through the delivery of stable, working solutions and effective follow-up.

  • You have strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.

  • You are able to complete assignments on time and with minimal errors.

  • You are amenable to report onsite 2x a week in BGC, Taguig City.

  • You are willing to work on a mid-shift schedule.
