The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company Continuous Improvement Analyst in GBS Heredia Office, Costa Rica

As a Continuous Improvement Analyst, you will be pivotal in developing and delivering automated process solutions that drive efficiency and measurable process gains across the business. In this role, you support Process Owners by identifying automation opportunities, assessing business requirements, and validating functions suited for automation. You also serve as a key liaison to the RPA development team, translating process insights into actionable automation concepts that enable accurate and sustainable solutions. Additionally, you help maintain and enhance existing automated processes by executing structured change management activities to ensure compliance, quality standards, and long-term effectiveness.

What You’ll Do

  • Evaluate and scope automation opportunities by assessing feasibility, estimating development effort, and identifying technical or infrastructure requirements while prioritizing processes suited for automation.

  • Serve as a central process and testing partner by supporting solution testing and implementation, coordinating with developers and SMEs, designing efficient workflows, and documenting test cases while guiding teams through UAT and rollout.

  • Ensure quality, compliance, and accuracy by documenting business processes, performing peer reviews of RPA workflows, and assessing risks, assumptions, and dependencies to maintain secure, well-structured, and maintainable automation solutions.

What We’re Looking For

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, with strong knowledge of process design, continuous improvement, and robotic process automation, plus 2–3 years of experience in roles such as Business Analyst or Process Analyst.

  • Brings hands-on expertise in RPA development, including designing and building workflows, monitoring production processes, and programming on Windows platforms, with preferred skills in VBA/Excel macros, Power Automate, SharePoint, and other digital tools.

  • Preferred qualifications include experience in process mapping and Agile methodologies, along with Lean Six Sigma certification and continuous improvement experience.

  • Communicates complex information clearly, with strong written and verbal skills, the ability to present technical topics to non-technical audiences, and effective collaboration across cross‑functional teams including SMEs, process owners, and RPA developers.

  • Demonstrates strong analytical and business understanding, including the ability to interpret workflow diagrams, translate them into automation concepts, gather requirements, and apply business process re‑engineering principles.

  • Brings technical capability and disciplined development practices, with experience testing and developing software on Windows platforms and familiarity with automation tools like UiPath or Blue Prism (preferred), with full RPA training available for those without prior experience.
