Job Title: Industrial Painter Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter responsible for preparing and mixing paints, primers, and coatings according to specifications, and applying them using an air sprayer. The role involves inspecting painted surfaces for defects to ensure proper coverage and adherence to quality control standards.
Responsibilities
Prepare and mix paints, primers, and coatings as per specifications.
Apply coatings using an air sprayer.
Inspect painted surfaces for defects and ensure proper coverage.
Operate spray equipment, ensuring proper fluid and air settings.
Perform minor maintenance on painting equipment and paint booth.
Move materials using a forklift.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in painting techniques and equipment operation.
Experience in industrial painting and paint preparation.
Knowledge of material properties and coating application.
Experience with hand tools and paint sprayers.
Ability to read blueprints and understand specifications.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Forklift experience.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting materials.
Strong attention to detail in surface preparation, paint application, and quality control.
Effective communication skills with supervisors and colleagues.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
