Robert Half Accounts Receivable Specialist in Garland, Texas
Description We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Garland, Texas. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, thrives in a high-volume environment, and enjoys working with various accounting systems. This is an on-site position requiring a strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities:
• Process and post payments, including checks and electronic credit card transactions, accurately and in a timely manner.
• Manage and process tax certificates, refunds, and credits while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
• Post credit card refunds and ensure all transactions are properly documented.
• Upload invoices to customer portals and maintain accurate records of all entries.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies by collaborating with internal teams and customers.
• Handle high-volume accounts receivable tasks with precision and efficiency.
• Maintain organized financial records and ensure adherence to company policies.
• Communicate effectively with customers to address inquiries and resolve payment issues.
• Utilize accounting and ERP systems to manage financial data and generate reports.
• Support the team in meeting deadlines and achieving departmental goals. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar role, with a focus on high-volume processing.
• Proficiency in using accounting software, ERP systems, and CRM platforms.
• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes, billing functions, and cash handling.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer interactions.
• Familiarity with tax certificates, refunds, and credit posting processes.
• Availability to work on-site in Garland, Texas, as remote options are not available.
