Minimum Qualifications:

Experience with study abroad or program management systems (e.g., Via TRM, Terra Dotta).
Experience in higher education or academic health environments.
Experience coordinating student programs, travel, or experiential learning initiatives.
International experience (study, work, or program coordination abroad).
Demonstrated experience delivering presentations, facilitating meetings, and engaging diverse audiences.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Planner, Power BI, and/or Canva or Adobe Creative tools.
Bilingual or multilingual skills.
Job Description:
The Program Manager is accountable for the personnel, operational, and financial management of assigned program(s) to ensure the delivery of competent, compassionate, and efficient clinical care, and the promotion of research and clinical education.
Job Duties:
The Program Manager for the Office of the Provost – Global Operations supports the administration, coordination, and delivery of UTMB Global Student Experiences. This role leads program operations, lifecycle management, program management system administration, and the coordination of global and domestic experiential programs to ensure high-quality, compliant, and well-coordinated program delivery aligned with UTMB and UT System standards.
This position operates with a high level of independence and accountability, requiring strong communication and presentation skills, and the ability to lead meetings, deliver presentations, and represent the Office of the Provost – Global Operations in interactions with faculty, staff, and students.
Essential Job Functions:
Oversees and coordinates administrative and operational activities related to UTMB Global Student Experiences, including program lifecycle management, system operations, and participant coordination
Provides operational leadership for program delivery and fosters collaboration across faculty, staff, and institutional partners
Serves as a liaison between faculty, academic units, and institutional departments to support program implementation, coordination, and delivery
Coordinates program operations across internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with program requirements and institutional expectations
Leads and facilitates meetings, presentations, and program briefings with faculty, staff, and students
Manages and maintains program operations within the designated program management system, including program setup, application workflows, participant tracking, and lifecycle progression
Monitors program activities to ensure compliance with UTMB, UT System, and international travel policies, including verification of required documentation and pre-departure requirements
Maintains working knowledge of institutional agreements (e.g., education agreements, program agreements, MOUs) to ensure programs are aligned with executed and active affiliations/partnerships
Develops and generates reports related to program participation, outcomes, and operational metrics to support decision-making and program effectiveness
Evaluates program processes and services to ensure quality, efficiency, and compliance with established standards
Supports the development and refinement of operational processes, performance standards, and program workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Identifies opportunities for operational improvements, system enhancements, and process optimization, and supports implementation of approved changes
Supports the implementation of new processes, systems, and program initiatives aligned with institutional goals
Coordinates with campus partners and external stakeholders to support collaborative program operations and participant experiences
Ensures adherence to internal controls, policies, and reporting structures related to program operations
Performs related duties as assigned.
Participate in professional development and institutional initiatives
Remain current in best practices related to program operations and student mobility.

Salary Range:
Commensurate with experience.
Working Environment/Location of Position:
Partial remote, with the expectation of on-site presence as needed to support program operations, meetings, and key institutional activities.
