Job Title: Painter and Body Work Specialist

Job Description

Join our team as a full-time Painter and Body Work Specialist. You will begin your training on the dayshift for a few weeks, after which you will transition to the 3rd shift from 10:30 pm to 6:00 am. This role requires the ability to operate a sander (both wet and dry), grinder, and pressurized paint guns. Familiarity with one-stage paint and power tools is preferred but not required. You must pass a Respirator Fit Test and be willing to wear an N95 respirator while working.

Responsibilities

  • Operate sanding and grinding equipment for surface preparation.

  • Use pressurized paint guns to apply paint and finishes.

  • Perform body and paint preparation tasks during a hands-on assessment.

  • Adhere to safety protocols, including wearing an N95 respirator.

  • Participate in on-site interviews and testing as part of the hiring process.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in auto body and paint preparation techniques.

  • Experience with sanding, finishing, and spray painting.

  • Ability to work with industrial painting processes.

Work Environment

Work in a well-equipped shop environment as part of a close-knit team. The role involves using advanced technologies and equipment. The facility maintains a professional atmosphere with company-provided uniforms.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gallatin, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
