Job Title: Painter and Body Work Specialist
Job Description
This full-time position offers a dynamic work environment with the opportunity to train on day shift before transitioning to 2nd or 3rd shift. The role requires proficiency in operating various tools and equipment including wet and dry sanders, grinders, and pressurized paint guns.
Responsibilities
Operate wet and dry sanders, grinders, and pressurized paint guns.
Perform paint preparation and application using auto body paint techniques.
Engage in spray painting and industrial painting processes in a paint booth environment.
Ensure compliance with safety standards by passing the Respirator Fit Test and wearing an N95 respirator while working.
Essential Skills
Experience in auto body and industrial painting.
Proficiency in using spray guns and conducting paint prep work.
Ability to operate sanders, grinders, and power tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Familiarity with one-stage paint and power tools is preferred but not required.
Candidates must pass an on-site paint test to demonstrate qualification.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gallatin, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
