Summary We are seeking a well-rounded professional chauffeur who possesses skills that go far beyond driving. Must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with our VIP's guests. Responsible for operating a vehicle and driving passengers to and from their destinations. Utilizing the latest in limousine applications and technology. Greets passengers, ascertains destination, watches for traffic signals, waits for passengers to take them to their next destination. You are the first contact most of our customers have with Joshuas Limousine Service and first impressions are lasting impressions. *Roles and Responsibilities Proper and timely completion of required paperwork (DOT and JLS) Operates vehicles within the fleet including, Sedans SUVs Vans, Limousine. and Mini Coach Provides Courteous Safe and efficient transportation of patrons clients and guest. Assists passengers in boarding and exiting the vehicle. Assists passengers in moving, loading, and unloading baggage and packages as needed. Regulates heating, lighting, and ventilating systems for passenger comfort. Vehicles safely and efficiently. Complies with local traffic regulations; drives safely in all situations. Monitors traffic and weather conditions and notifies dispatch of potential problems, delays, accidents or other situations using cell phone or app, or similar device. Completes mandatory pre-trip and post-trip inspections according to written procedure. On a daily basis, and after each trip, completes Daily Vehicle Inspection Report (DVR) and submits it to Maintenance Shop. Keeps interior of vehicle neat and orderly always, including removing garbage waste. Enforces JLS Safety Rules in a polite, firm, consistent manner. Demonstrates knowledge of and compliance with livery transportation rules and regulations promulgated by local, state and federal agencies. Responsible to learn and remember the location of passenger pick-up and destination points serviced by the JLS fleet, including lodging, entertainment, and attraction sites; be able to communicate these to guests, coworkers and other persons. Communicates with and treats all guests, customers, passengers, fellow team members and all JLS personnel in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner. Notifies dispatcher of any civil driving infraction, receipt of traffic ticket, etc. as soon as it occurs. Ensures that vehicle is properly fueled at end of trip, prior to shut-down. Ensures that vehicle is parked correctly on JLS Property Wears JLS uniform while on duty. Complies with all JLS Employee Handbook Rules and Regulations. Complies with all JLS dress-code and grooming standards Reports personal absence according to JLS Absence Policy. Performs other duties as requested by dispatch or supervision. *Education Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent *Qualifications and requirements *Must have a (PSL) Public Service License *Must have a (CDL) with airbrakes to operate Motor Coach *Must have CDL if looking to operate shuttles above 14 passengers, below 57 passenger Must pass a bi-annual DOT physical Must produce their own MVR in July by the first of the month.
