The Quality Technician I plays a critical role in ensuring our products are manufactured under the highest quality standards, following all cGMPs, and in compliance with our Quality Management System. The ideal Quality Technician I is thorough, well organized, and has an exceptional attention to detail. The Quality Technician I will be fully trained and responsible for at least 2-3 of the following QA processes: GDP Document Review (Logbooks, Forms), Batch Record Review and Certificate generation, Receiving Inspection, QC Product Inspection, Environmental Monitoring (EM) Sample Collection (non-viable, viable, water), EM Data Review, Calibration Record Review, Record Retention, and Product Integrity Testing. Additional site support tasks as may be assigned as required.-

A successful Quality Technician I is a trusted partner to the manufacturing process, a resource for quality information, quality training, and a go-to resource for quality support. They must engage with all required SOPs, work instructions, and forms. The role will have sufficient knowledge of the various products and processes performed in the cleanrooms and at the site. It may require performing diverse tasks, with excellent attention to detail and minimal errors.-

The Quality Technician I will also develop the knowledge, under supervision, to support at least 1-2 of the following tasks: root cause analysis, CAPA support, internal audits, procedure reviews and updates, supplier assessment, training and presentation, and communication of Quality principles and requirements among internal groups. -standards.

Education :

  • High School Diploma or GED Certificate; Required

Experience:

  • 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing, cGMP, or regulated environment t; Required

  • Strong ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions, drawings or blueprints; Required

  • Adherence to all gowning requirements when in the cleanroom, including, being prohibited from wearing perfume/cologne, cosmetics, makeup, and jewelry; Required

  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook; Required

  • Experience in a life sciences or medical device manufacturing environment; Preferred

  • Experience in a Quality Role in a manufacturing site; Preferred

Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees’ wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the pay rate for this position which is $24 per hour. In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount can be up to 10% of hourly rate based on company and individual performance measures. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
