 Plans basic Lean Sigma projects, including budgets;

 Leads Lean Sigma projects that will produce significant cost savings;

 Ensures projects are on schedule and customer expectations are meet;

 Contributes to the development and Implementation of lean sigma deployment plan;

 Fosters the Lean Sigma culture within the organization;

 Designs, develops, implements and evaluates internal Lean Sigma Green Belt program;

 Delivers employee Lean Sigma Green Belt Training;

 Mentors Green Belt candidates on basic projects to reach certification ensuring compliance to methodology;

Candidate skills & requirements

At Safran Seats, we value service-oriented team players who demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to adapt to our dynamic, innovative environment.

• Bachelor Degree in engineering or business administration; OR an Associate's

plus 3 years relevant/related work experience; OR 6 years directly related work

experience

• Minimum 1 year relevant experience and minimum of 1 year with process

• improvement experience.

• Lean training from the Shingo Institute, Shingijutsu, or other recognized program

• or company.

• Must pursue One Safran referent accreditation

• Basic knowledge of Lean Sigma, process improvement, and problem solving

• methodologies

• Basic Knowledge within functional areas of Continuous Improvement (at least one of the following fields):

• Office Lean

• Training of Lean Sigma

• Engineering Lean Sigma/Continuous Improvement (DFLSS, DFMA, VAVE,

• etc.)

• Quality/Manufacturing Lean Sigma /Continuous Improvement

• Able to organize complex thoughts and ideas into a cohesive, simple message.

• Ability to influence all levels of the organization without direct authority

• Consistent focus on safety, 5S, standard work and problem solving throughout

• value stream, with visible evidence of effectiveness.
