What You'll Be Doing
Operate haul trucks to support the internal stripping crew in overburden removal
Complete pre‑shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs
Transport materials safely to designated locations within the stripping operation
Communicate effectively with equipment operators, supervisors, and team members
Contribute to site safety, environmental compliance, and housekeeping standards
What Are We Looking For
Ability to safely operate heavy mobile equipment in a stripping or mining environment
Strong awareness of surroundings and commitment to safe work practices
Dependable team member with strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to follow operational plans and adapt to changing site conditions
Capability to work outdoors in physically demanding environments
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
Work Environment
- This position primarily supports our North Georgia operations and includes regular on-site work in an outdoor mining environment. Travel up to approximately 33% of the time will be required to support operations in South Georgia. The role involves navigating uneven terrain, working around heavy equipment, and adapting to varying weather conditions. Personal protective equipment is required, and the role includes consistent field presence to support stripping activities.
