JOB TITLE: Janitor
Pay Rate is $18 per hour
PRIMARY FUNCTION:The primary function of the Janitor position is to maintain a clean facility by completing a variety of cleaning tasks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Individual will perform cleaning throughout the plant, with specific responsibilities to include office areas, breakrooms, and multiply bathrooms. This will include cleanliness of all employee restrooms, employee breakrooms, common areas, and offices as designated by management. Additionally, will involve basic trash removal from outside areas of the building, including patio area, smoking area and all common areas surrounding the facility.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.• Prior experience cleaning in a manufacturing, warehouse or hospital warehouse setting.• Good verbal and written communication • Proven ability to react to business needs. • Individual must be able to work independently.• Must be able to always maintain high cleanliness standards. (This is a food manufacturing facility) • Ability to use all janitorial equipment and dispense chemicals after being trained.• Two to four years prior experience in a janitorial position.
