Project Management Specialist
American Serleep Inc. seeks a Project Management Specialist in Gaffney, SC, primarily responsible for leading the expansion of U.S. retail and distribution channels, overseeing the process from market research to partnership implementation. The role involves gathering customer insights, managing third-party vendors, and developing tailored channel solutions. The specialist will also conduct data-driven analysis to evaluate channel performance, support budgeting and forecasting, and identify opportunities for business process optimization. Additionally, the role includes coordinating daily warehouse operations, improving inventory and logistics efficiency, and implementing KPIs to drive continuous improvement. The essential job duties include:
Lead the development of major US brick-and-mortar retail and distribution channels, formulate channel expansion plans based on the company's market strategies, and manage the full process from needs research, business negotiation to partnership implementation.
Establish an enterprise customer needs insight mechanism, regularly communicate with retailers and distributors to capture new product development requirements and market dynamics, and form channel-tailored solutions.
Screen and manage third-party service providers (e.g., logistics vendors, market research agencies), develop a supplier evaluation system, and ensure channel expansion projects are delivered according to milestones.
Build an evaluation model for sales channel expansion effectiveness, analyze channel ROI through ERP systems and market data, and regularly submit budget execution reports and revenue forecasts to management.
Lead business process optimization, identify efficiency bottlenecks in channel expansion and warehouse operations, and promote process standardization and digital upgrading.
Coordinate daily operations of two US warehouses, formulate inventory management strategies (safety stock, replenishment cycles), ensure smooth logistics chains, and maintain an order fulfillment rate >98%.
Apply industrial engineering knowledge to optimize warehouse workflow design, equipment configuration, and staff scheduling, improve picking efficiency (target >15% effectiveness improvement), and reduce warehousing costs.
Establish a warehouse KPI evaluation system (e.g., inventory accuracy rate, on-time delivery rate), regularly review operation data, and formulate improvement plans.
Job requirements: Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution, plus at least 2 years of experience in project and production management, especially in managing warehouse and logistics in cross-border and e-commerce environments. Must possess proficiency in ERP systems and business intelligence tools (advanced Excel functions, Tableau), with strong skills in data modeling, ROI analysis, and performance reporting. Requires solid understanding of U.S. retail operations and distribution models; strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify process inefficiencies and lead optimization or digitalization initiatives; results-driven with high resilience under pressure, capable of independently resolving supply chain disruptions, compliance issues, and operational challenges in cross-border projects; and excellent customer service skills.
