Aerowerks Corporation of America is locating a new manufacturing facility in Cherokee County. Aerowerks specializes in the design and manufacture of material handling systems for the food industry. Potential employment opportunities exist for:
General Helper
Job Duties: Move raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant Load and unload materials, parts, and fixtures Sort, pack, crate, and package items properly Check and weigh materials and products for accuracy Assist machine operators and production workers by supplying tools and materials Support production line operations and maintain workflow Clean work areas and equipment, sweep and remove debris Perform janitorial duties and other general labor tasks as assigned Start and shut down equipment as needed Assist with the shipping of finished products Must be prepared to work in other areas and departments in the facility if asked to do so
Experience Required: Ability to stand for long periods and perform manual tasks Comfortable using hand tools and measuring instruments Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Team-oriented and adaptable to changing priorities Previous manufacturing experience is an asset

Location: Gaffney, SC
Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Position: Full-time Wage: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour Experience: 1-2 years of manufacturing experience (preferred) Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
