Adolescent Behavioral Health Registered Nurse – Night Shift
Location: Fuquay-Varina, NC
Schedule: 36/48 Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Start Date: 4/06/26
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Adolescent Behavioral Health RN to join our team in Fuquay-Varina. This role is ideal for a nurse who is passionate about supporting youth experiencing behavioral or psychiatric challenges. You will work 12-hour night shifts as part of a collaborative clinical team committed to providing safe, structured, and compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct nursing care to adolescents with behavioral health needs
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Conduct assessments and maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, coping strategies, and ongoing care
Qualifications
• Active RN license in North Carolina
• Experience in adolescent psychiatric or behavioral health nursing preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
