The Maples Assisted Living Housekeeper in Fulton, New York
Job Summary: To provide a clean, sanitary, comfortable and tidy environment for resident's health and well being. Performs a variety of housekeeping duties to maintain resident's environment.
Clean furniture, furnishings, floors and walls.
Vacuum rugs, and mop floors, in all patient areas.
Sweep, mop and dust dining rooms.
Clean patient bathrooms including toilets.
Clean common shower rooms including toilets, tub and shower area.
Empty and clean all trash cans.
Collect trash throughout the units - Check all rooms for garbage and pick up daily.
Help in room changes with residents personal belongings.
Maintain safety and patient safety.
Regulatory Requirements: Be a minimum of 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States. Ability to work with residents/family and physicians in a friendly and knowledgeable manner.
Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred.
Skills: Basic computer knowledge.
