Job Summary Join our dynamic team as aCDL Driver/Material Handler! You'll play a crucial role in transporting and delivering products or materialslocally. Essential Duties & Responsibilities * Deliverwith Pride:Transport merchandiselocallyto customers, branch locations, or final destinations, always projectingcourtesy anda positive company image. * Team Player:Communicateeffectivelyacross multiple teams and individual associates to achieve successfulresults and completion of tasks. * Vehicle Care:Inspect trucks for defects before and after trips, maintain general care and upkeep of the assigned vehicle. * Safety First:Adhere to all safety rules and regulations, maintain a good driving record, and hold a proper commercial driver's license. * Compliance:Follow Federal Highway Administration Rules and Regulations for Interstate drivers, maintain driver logs according to D.O.T. regulations. * Material Handling:Accurately assemble, load, unload, and move materials within or nearthe work siteto designated areas asperSales Tickets, maintaining a clean and organized work environment. * Packaging:Package merchandise for shipment by common carrier. * Equipment Operation:Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, or dollies to move stock or reorganize storage. Minimum Qualifications * Driver Requirements:Commercial Driver's Licenseand ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card and Clearinghouse consent * Communication Skills:actively listen, convey ideas and information, and engage in cross-team collaboration. * Capability:Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Preferred Qualifications * Experience:Three to five years ofdocumentedrelated experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
