Apply for Job Share this Job Sign Up for Job AlertsAtlanta Technical College (ATC) is seeking highly qualified applicants for its Student Success Technician (Part-Time) position in the Student Engagement division. This position is located on Atlanta Tech's main campus, just South of Downtown Atlanta.
The Student Success Technician (Part-Time) provides secretarial and clerical support to the Student Engagement unit and serves as a liaison and initial point of contact for stakeholders entering the Academic Complex and Student Success Center. In addition to assisting potential, new, and current students to navigate through the admissions and registration processes; providing basic information, appointment scheduling assistance, and referrals to appropriate personnel when necessary. This is a part-time position, up to twenty-nine hours per week.
JOB DUTIES:
· Provide clerical and secretarial support to the unit.
· Assist with drafting documents related to special initiatives, workshops, and projects, such as call campaigns, as assigned.
· Manage departmental business functions, including ordering and maintaining an inventory of supplies.
· Determine the nature of customers’ business needs to provide appropriate information, assistance, or referrals to personnel.
· Support students in navigating ATC information systems and related technologies to schedule appointments with Student Success personnel.
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of admissions processes, academic course offerings, and referral sources.
· Understand and adhere to all college and TCSG policies and procedures.
· Organize and maintain filing and record-keeping systems.
· Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications :
Must possess and demonstrate a Highschool diploma or equivalent .
Preferred Qualifications :
Preference may be given to candidates who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, possess and demonstrate the following:
· Associate degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
· Experience working within a public or higher education institution.
· Proven experience providing general clerical support, student intake assistance, and data entry.
· Comprehensive knowledge of standard office procedures and best practices.
· Ability to identify issues, resolve routine problems, and seek appropriate assistance when necessary.
· Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with a high level of discretion.
· Proficiency in scheduling student appointments and effectively resolving scheduling conflicts.
· Foundational computer skills, specifically with the Microsoft Office suite.
· Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
· Experience engaging and collaborating with college personnel and external partners.
