This job is a 29 hour part time, TRS covered, non-benefited, FLSA non-exempt position in the Academic Affairs Division that reports to the Director of Academic Affairs. This position’s primary location will be the Alpharetta – North Fulton Campus.

Salary : Targeted salary is commensurate with education and experience not to exceed the budgeted amount of $17.42 per hour.

Associate’s degree in Business Administrative Technology and One (1) year of work related experience OR High school diploma and Two (2) years related work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

In addition to the minimum qualifications, p revious experience working in an academic setting. Computer proficiency (Word, Excel and PowerPoint required); self-starter, excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work under pressure in an empathetic and professional manner; ability to multi-task, problem solve, and maintain effective relationships with multi-level personnel and customers; proficiency in BANNER and Microsoft Office applications, ability to exhibit professional customer service skills.

Job Description Summary:

Under general supervision of senior management, performs advanced and diversified secretarial/clerical duties requiring broad and comprehensive experience, skill and knowledge of organization policies and procedures in support of the department. Completes administrative tasks and special projects as requested not limited to the areas of personnel, budgeting and management of records. May provide assistance in purchasing and accounting tasks. May be cross-trained in various assignments related to the operation of the department.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Perform general office procedures to include processing of mail, answering of telephone, use copier, and procedures that lead to efficiency and effectiveness of the office

Assist in providing a variety of administrative and clerical support functions to facilitate the work flow of the Academic Affairs office

Support in the areas of course scheduling, faculty evaluation, room assignments, student registration, orientation, educational research and data collection, special projects, and general administrative support

Displays a high level of effort and commitment to performing work; operates effectively within the organizational structure; demonstrates trustworthiness and responsible behavior.

Other duties as needed and assigned- Update SharePoint, update Syllabus, update faculty hours, Enter New Faculty Information in Banner, posting schedule
