Job Summary:
The Pharmacy Technician Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and leading the pharmacy delivery order and fulfillment operations as well as bulk order medication fulfillment.
SCHEDULE: 8pm - 4:30am with rotating weekends
Duties/Responsibilities:
Direct oversight of fulfillment personnel associated with packaging/dispensing, bulk fulfillment, staging and delivery
Coordinate stock medication expiration date weekly reviews
Ensure appropriate level of inventory is maintained and packaging activities provide sufficient stock for daily operations
Coordinate all activities associated with packaging, dispensing and staging
Ensure coordination of tote staging with all orders
Meet delivery deadlines through effective delivery coordination
Assist with interviewing process and hire appropriately qualified staff for the pharmacy. Build a team capable of, and committed to, addressing and supporting real time issues. Request as necessary.
Assist with preparations and conducts department’s employee performance evaluations and conducts coaching or warning sessions
Work with management on implementation opportunities to improve operations including, but not limited to, cost reduction, productivity improvement, increased capacity, improved quality, enhanced service and best practices workflows.
Coordinate with other departments including, but not limited to, Pharmacists, Order Entry, Billing, IT Support, and Human Resources.
Coordinate with delivery and inventory control to achieve daily production and services goals.
Comply with department policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code
Comply with all applicable state and federal regulations related to pharmacy practices.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or equivalent required
Pharmacy technician licenses/certifications required by state regulations and state of practice.
Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years managing the day-to-day operating activities of a healthcare environment or long-term care pharmacy
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

HOLIDAY & PTO POLICY
Paid holidays are provided annually, with 6 days offered each year, along with 5 sick days.

Please note, because we are a pharmacy most of our locations are open 24-hours a day, 7 days a week and therefore schedules may change as determined by the needs of the business.
