APTIM General Maintenance Worker in Ft Benning, Georgia
Job Overview:
The General Maintenance Worker will support Aptim Federal Services at Fort Benning by performing general maintenance in repair of equipment,
machinery, and buildings requiring practical skills and knowledge in such trades as painting, carpentry, plumbing, concrete, masonry, and electrical work.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Daily time entry.
Daily operation of various power/hand tools.
Ensure all tools and equipment are in the best working condition by conducting daily inspections and cleaning.
Replacing electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors.
Working with plaster or compound to patch minor holes, cracks in walls, and ceilings.
Repairing or replacing sinks, water coolers, toilets, damaged paneling, floor tiles, concrete slabs, steps, sidewalks
Hanging doors, installing door locks, and replacing broken windowpanes.
Painting structures and equipment.
Other job duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Must have 3-5 years of experience being a General Maintenance Worker
Valid State Driver's License
Meet requirements for: pre-employment physical, drug screening, background check, and MVR check (MVR points are subject to company policy)

Wage Rates & Union Benefits
Wage rates and fringe benefits for this position are governed by terms of a collective bargaining agreement (CBA) between the company and a union with jurisdiction for the job location.
CBAs for union projects typically include a retirement plan (such as a pension, annuity, or 401(k)), health insurance (e.g., medical, dental, vision), and other benefits. APTIM pays the costs for some fringe benefit plans for employees working on union projects. Under some CBAs, however, you may be required to contribute a percentage of your wages toward the cost of these benefits.
Additionally, you may also qualify for paid sick leave, paid holidays, paid vacation, and supplemental insurance plans (e.g., life, short-term disability, long-term disability). The CBA contains the terms and conditions of eligibility as well as information about any costs to you.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay range for this position is $30.65 per hour.
