Job Title: Control Panel Technician
Job Description
As a Control Panel Technician, you will be responsible for assembling electrical enclosures used for the measurement and control of hydrocarbon and chemical products, as well as power and water applications. This role requires precise assembly and wiring of control panels based on specific schematics and standards.
Responsibilities
Mount electronic control hardware into enclosures as per defined standards and practices.
Terminate input and output signals from electronic control hardware to termination blocks.
Accurately measure wire lengths, strip insulation, and secure wires under screw terminals.
Handle multiple wires and wire color combinations with precision.
Use hand tools and small power tools to complete assembly tasks.
Follow directions and schematics accurately.
Essential Skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
General hand and finger dexterity for terminating small wires.
Experience with hand tools such as wire crimpers, wire strippers, and pliers.
Proficiency in using power tools like cordless drills and sabre saws.
Ability to follow detailed schematics and directions.
Basic PC skills, including knowledge of Word and Outlook.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
3+ years of experience in building electrical panels independently is preferred.
Attention to detail in panel wiring and assembly.

Work Environment
Work at a dedicated workstation where you will need to reach, bend, and crouch, with the option to sit or stand. The area is currently non-climate controlled, though there are plans to improve climate conditions. The valve department is climate controlled. Typical work hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, with a summer schedule of 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. due to heat considerations. Be prepared to work overtime from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. when required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
