Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Overnight shifts with a varied schedule (including weekends and holidays as needed)
Position Overview:
United Protective Services is bringing on a super flex officer to help cover overnight shifts across different sites. This role moves around based on where coverage is needed, so flexibility is a big part of it.You will handle regular security duties like patrols and reporting, but there will also be times when you are asked to step in and help keep things running smoothly on site. It is a good opportunity for someone who wants to pick up more responsibility over time and get a feel for leadership without jumping straight into a supervisor role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Travel between assignments and fill in where overnight coverage is needed
• Walk assigned areas and keep track of activity throughout the shift
• Report anything unusual or out of place based on site instructions
• Complete daily logs and write clear notes if something happens
• Help guide or support other officers when questions come up
• Assist with basic operational needs depending on the site
• Communicate professionally with clients, staff, and team members
• Help maintain a consistent level of service across different locations
Required Qualifications:
• Reliable attendance and ability to work overnight hours
• Flexibility with scheduling, including weekends and holidays
• Strong communication skills and a steady approach on the job
• Willingness to take on added responsibility when needed
• Ability to stay composed in different types of work environments
