Pay Rate: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour
Schedule:
Varied schedule based on operational needs (including mornings, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays)
Position Overview:
United Protective Services is hiring for a super flex position that covers a mix of sites and responsibilities. This role is a step beyond a standard post you will still handle regular security duties, but you may also be asked to help out in ways that support the team overall.No two weeks will look the same. Some assignments are routine, others may require you to step in and take on a bit more responsibility. It is a good fit for someone who wants to gain experience and is not looking for the same shift or location every day.
Key Responsibilities:
• Move between assignments as needed and provide coverage where it is required
• Walk assigned areas and stay aware of activity around you
• Report anything unusual or unsafe based on site instructions
• Keep daily logs and incident reports clear and accurate
• Step in to help with basic leadership tasks when needed
• Assist newer officers or team members with guidance on site expectations
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and coworkers
• Help maintain a positive working relationship with each site you are assigned to
Required Qualifications:
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work a changing schedule
• Strong communication skills and a steady, professional approach
• Ability to handle both independent work and team responsibilities
• Staying calm and focused in different types of environments
• Openness to learning and taking on added responsibilities
