Job Duties
Oversee design, development and performance of hydraulic systems. Manage team of hydromechanical, electrical or software engineers. Assess customer requirements, analyze customer systems, and make recommendations for systems solutions. Manage projects with engineering and sales teams from conception through production. Manage design reviews, prototyping and system testing. Act as Product Manager for telematics products. Ensure compliance with industry regulations for hydraulic systems engineered for winter-use. Produce how to videos for slat spreader and telematics products. Produce user manual documentation. Requires 25% regional travel.
Minimum Education Required
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Minimum Experience Required
2 years of experience as a Hydraulic Engineer/Technician or a related occupation; and demonstrated knowledge/experience with: hydraulic fluid power systems, integrated controls and mechanical systems; CAD tools (SolidWorks/AutoCAD); software testing; industry regulations (DOT, ASME, SAE); product design engineering (mechanical and hydraulic); product function testing; product manual writing; and telematics hardware and cloud interfaces.
