Job: Stacker I

Location: 3366 E Muscat Ave, Fresno, CA 93725

Primary duties include safely performing a wide range of tasks that include:

\u2022 Monitor ongoing loads from corrugator that are feeding into the Flexo Folder Gluer Machines (FFG).

\u2022 Perform a variety of tasks while machine runs to supplement activities of other team members. \u2022 Machine set up \u2022 Removes sheets from machine when necessary (jams, warps) \u2022 Picks up, pulls and stacks sheets \u2022 Moves loads weighing up to 50 lbs. \u2022 Climbs with ink buckets weighing up to 50 lbs. \u2022 Viscosity checks on ink \u2022 Ink bucket set ups \u2022 Makes adjustments to machinery as needed \u2022 Execute machine clean up procedure as required. Complete Quality checklist. \u2022 Safety and information management \u2022 Put out fires, if necessary \u2022 Pick up kicked out sheets \u2022 Report machine problems to service mechanics and production supervisor as needed.

Safety:

\u2022 Follow all plant rules and safety rules \u2022 Follow housecleaning and sanitation rules \u2022 Report all accidents and injuries to supervisor immediately \u2022 Report all unsafe acts or conditions to supervisor immediately \u2022 Safety glasses must be worn at all times in the plant \u2022 Wear hearing protection at all times \u2022 Know lock out/tag out procedures \u2022 Apply lock out/tag out prior to entering machine, clearing jam ups, cleaning hotplates. \u2022 Always wear Kevlar gloves when working with anything sharp. \u2022 Apply proper lifting technique when lifting any material. \u2022 Know and use the proper protection equipment for the job. \u2022 Must maintain all tools in good working condition, and must notify supervisor when repairs or replacement is needed. \u2022 Be cautious when walking on conveyor rollers, and use crossovers. \u2022 Keep machine area clean. \u2022 Know the locations of fire extinguishers, fire hoses and alarms.

What You Need to Succeed:

\u2022 The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working safe, demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment, a strong desire to learn manufacturing processes and operating complex machinery and have a desire to advance within the company \u2022 Ability to operate various manufacturing equipment, follow specific direction, operate power hand tools, and other duties as assigned. \u2022 Maintain a clean work environment. \u2022 Ability to read a tape measure and have basic math and computer skills. \u2022 Ability to work safely and comply with all safety regulations. \u2022 Ability to lift, push or pull 50lbs, navigate stairs, stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout the entire shift. \u2022 Ability to climb with ink buckets weighing up to 50 lbs. \u2022 Basic mechanical ability to operate tools, set up and adjust machine \u2022 Basic math skills to count production quantities, measure raw materials and finished product \u2022 Prior experience working on a FFG machine or other similar equipment a plus \u2022 REQUIRED to work daily OVERTIME, weekend work and various shifts depending \u2022 on your position.

The starting rate is $23.75 per hour, depending on your role, level, and location. The benefits for this role may include short-term bonus incentive, health, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts or health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and paid sick leave as required by applicable state/local law, 5 days of paid vacation, and 10 days of paid holidays, subject to annual change.
