Job Title: Controls Engineer
Job Summary
Bring industrial automation to life—from concept to commissioning. As a Controls Engineer on our systems integration team, you’ll own complete automation solutions: control panel and electrical design, PLC/HMI/SCADA programming, debugging, acceptance testing, and start‑up at the customer site.
Responsibilities
Design and troubleshoot electrical circuits and control panels.
Program and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs from platforms such as Allen-Bradley, GE, Automation Direct, and Siemens.
Troubleshoot industrial networks and similar systems.
Apply NEC codes, UL 508A standards, and general electrical design principles.
Support typical service calls and engineer standard automation projects independently.
Work within established project budgets and timelines.
Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and customers to ensure project success and high customer satisfaction.
Adhere to quality control procedures and engineering standards throughout project execution.
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, vendors, and external customers.
Provide on-site support as needed to diagnose issues, implement solutions, and ensure system performance meets customer expectations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Proficiency in PLC/HMI programming and industrial control systems
Experience with platforms such as Allen-Bradley, Rockwell, Siemens, and others
Strong knowledge of electrical design and AutoCAD Electrical
Understanding of NEC codes and UL 508A standards
Excellent troubleshooting skills in control systems and industrial networks

This is a Permanent position based out of Fresno, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr.
