Job Title: Construction Technician
Job Description
The technician assembles and disassembles shoring and overpass concrete forms in an outdoor yard environment. This role focuses on pre-assembling concrete form systems using hand and power tools, nuts, and bolts so they are ready to ship to construction sites for installation. The technician reads and interprets blueprints and follows instructions from leadership to ensure accurate, safe, and efficient assembly.
Responsibilities
Pre-assemble shoring and overpass concrete forms in the yard so they are ready for shipment to construction sites.
Assemble and disassemble concrete form systems using hand and power tools, including the proper use of nuts and bolts.
Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to ensure accurate assembly of components.
Follow verbal and written instructions from the lead and supervisor to complete daily tasks and meet project requirements.
Inspect assembled forms for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity before they are sent out.
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized condition.
Work safely in outdoor conditions and follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
Collaborate with team members in the yard to coordinate assembly activities and meet deadlines.
Essential Skills
Hands-on experience with construction installation or similar construction-related work.
Proficiency using hand tools and power tools for mechanical assembly tasks.
Ability to work with nuts and bolts and other fasteners to assemble and secure components.
Ability to read, understand, and follow blueprints and assembly instructions.
Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail in assembly work.
Ability to follow directions from supervisors and leads accurately and consistently.
Capability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for the full workday.
Work Environment
This role is based primarily in an outdoor yard environment, working directly in the elements. Conditions can be hot during the summer and cold during the winter, and the technician should be prepared for changing weather throughout the year. The work involves regular use of hand and power tools, handling concrete forms and related materials, and moving between different areas of the yard as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fresno, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
