Robert Half Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Fremont, Ohio
Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to oversee and manage the financial operations of our organization in Fremont, Ohio. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented and excels in ensuring accuracy and compliance in all accounting functions. The successful candidate will play a key part in driving efficiency and maintaining the integrity of financial processes.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurate and complete.
• Manage the general ledger and ensure all accounts are properly reconciled and maintained.
• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with audit standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
• Oversee the preparation and posting of journal entries to ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Manage bank reconciliations to ensure proper alignment of cash balances.
• Supervise accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate financial audits.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency. Requirements • A minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or financial management.
• Strong expertise in month-end close, general ledger management, and financial statement preparation.
• Proven experience with account reconciliations, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
• In-depth knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions.
• Familiarity with financial statement audits and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all financial processes.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities to work collaboratively with teams and stakeholders.
