Pay Range: $27/hr

Shift: Day

What's the Job?

  • Load and unload standard and oversized materials from trucks efficiently and safely

  • Inspect products for damages or discrepancies and ensure quality control

  • Verify incoming shipments against packing lists and purchase orders for accuracy

  • Complete transactions in Oracle and generate barcoded labels for packages and pallets

  • Utilize warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts to move materials

Job Description - Warehouse Operations Associate

We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Ops Associate who is a self-starter and a team player that possesses strong organizational and communication skills while working under strict time deadlines in an ever changing environment.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Load/unload standard/oversized materials to/from trucks

  • Inspect products for any damages or discrepancies

  • Verify the accuracy of incoming shipments against packing lists and purchase orders

  • Complete required transactions in Oracle

  • Create barcoded/non-barcoded labels to place on packages/boxes/pallets

  • Utilize warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, rolling carts, forklifts to safely move material to stock locations

  • Send inbound receipt information to recipients via email

  • Route material to Bloom cross-functional teams/departments through inter-company delivery team

  • Acknowledge material requests in Quickbase

  • Pull material requests and perform audit to ensure 100% accuracy is maintained at all times

  • Work closely with our Field Services Planning and Engineering teams to review and process field returned material in Oracle, Quickbase, Salesforce

  • Consolidate material in racks, bins or lanes to maximize the usage of warehouse footprint

  • Breakdown boxes/crates for recycling, sort scrap material and separate metal for reclamation value

  • Troubleshoot receiving and inventory discrepancies and report findings to Department Lead/Manager

  • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support overall warehouse operations

  • Perform monthly cycle counts

  • Perform annual Physical Inventory if needed

  • Maintain good housekeeping (5S) of the warehouse operations area and comply with safety requirements

Education and Experience:

  • 4+ years working experience in Receiving, Inventory, Warehouse Operations

  • 3+ years working experience with Forklift, pallet jacks (electric, non-electric)

  • Working knowledge of Quickbase, Oracle

  • Flexible within a rapidly changing, dynamic work environment

  • Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of the arms and legs and moving the whole body such as lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials

  • Heavy lifting of up to 50lbs

  • Solid math skills

  • Solid computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to follow through on inventory issues

  • Superior organizational skills

  • Team-oriented with a strong sense of urgency for deliverables

  • Flexible to work overtime on weekdays, weekends and/or company holidays as needed

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to interact with immediate, cross-functional teams at Bloom, as well as external teams such as carriers, suppliers

  • Display positive energy and exceptional work-ethics

  • General understanding of the warehouse practices

  • Ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Ability to work under minimum supervision
