Robert Half Sr. Financial Analyst in Fremont, California
Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Fremont, California. In this role, you will play a critical part in analyzing financial data, developing models, and supporting key decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cost accounting, financial modeling, and manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic planning and forecasting.
• Conduct variance analysis to compare actual performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Perform ad hoc financial analyses to address specific business challenges or opportunities.
• Apply cost accounting principles to evaluate and optimize manufacturing product costs.
• Review and analyze inventory costs to ensure accurate reporting and valuation.
• Assist in the month-end close process by preparing journal entries and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations.
• Utilize NetSuite and other tools to streamline financial reporting and analysis.
• Support the development and implementation of standard cost accounting practices. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis or related roles.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis techniques.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, particularly in manufacturing environments.
• Experience with standard cost accounting and inventory analysis.
• Familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
• Proven ability to perform variance analysis and deliver actionable insights.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
