Job Title: Manufacturing Technician
Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our team. You will play a crucial role in operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting reactors and related process equipment. This position offers the chance to work in a supportive environment with opportunities for professional growth.
Responsibilities
Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot reactors, mixing tanks, and related process equipment.
Perform batch preparation, including media formulation, sterilization, and inoculation procedures.
Maintain accurate records of process parameters, deviations, and corrective actions.
Assist in scale-up and validation of new processes and equipment.
Conduct routine preventive maintenance and coordinate repairs with engineering teams.
Ensure compliance with SOPs, GMP, and safety protocols.
Support process optimization initiatives to improve yield, efficiency, and reliability.
Collaborate with R&D, QA/QC, and engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
Perform sampling and basic analytical testing (e.g., pH, conductivity, turbidity).
Participate in clean-in-place (CIP) and sterilize-in-place (SIP) procedures.
Essential Skills
Strong understanding of reactor operations and tank systems.
Familiarity with PLC systems, SCADA, and process control instrumentation.
Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, SOPs, and technical documentation.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Comfortable working in a cleanroom or regulated environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fremont, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $34.00/hr.
